WBC Event Calendar
WBC Rating: CS/2/30-45 (C pace, social ride/rolling terrain/30-45 miles). Mileage is related to the season and the weather prediction.
The start location for the Wednesday Morning Ride (WMR) is the west end of McNamara Park in Genoa Township. The entrance to the park is on Big Walnut Road immediately behind the Genoa Township Fire Station located at the northeast corner of the intersection of SR 3 and Big Walnut Rd. The address of the park is: 7049 Big Walnut Rd, Galena, OH 43021. There are restrooms available at the shelter house in the park.
The WMRs will start at 9:00 am and routes will range from 30 – 45 miles depending on predicted weather conditions. They will typically include a brunch stop at one of our local “fine dining” establishments. Destination towns will include Sunbury, Galena, Johnstown, Delaware, Centerburg and New Albany. If the WMR is cancelled for any reason, an email will be sent out from the WBC website no later than 7:30 am on day of the ride.
A link to the GPS version of the route will be sent out in an email from the WBC website on the evening prior to the ride. A few paper maps will be available at the start of the ride. The WMR is social ride for experienced “C” pace riders (avg. 12-15 mph). This being a social ride, faster paced riders will be asked to stop occasionally so we can regroup. Slower riders are asked to bring a riding buddy. As with all WBC rides participants must sign in prior to the event and wear a helmet while riding.

Rides are usually about 45 miles plus or minus 5 miles. C and B paces. Some paper maps provided.
Ride Leader: Dick Bartz
Rides begin at Hoover Dam, west parking lot, at 6:00 pm. Several ride distances each night, varying from 15-35 miles. Maps will be provided. All paces. All riders welcome. Weather permitting.
This week's Ride Leader:
This is a supportive group riding close to Dublin, Powell, Lewis Center and Delaware.
The main group typically rides at a “B pace” (16 to 18 mph). We will work with riders not comfortable with the main group’s pace to make sure that they either: 1) know the route and are comfortable riding alone or 2) someone who knows the route stays with them. Faster riders are welcome to ride ahead. We typically ride 30 to 45 miles, depending on how much daylight we have.
We will meet, ready to ride, at the Concord Township Park, which is located at the southwest corner of Home Road and SR 745 (Dublin Road).
Ride Leader: Steve Mayo and Keith Gooch
