Lake Logan to Laurelville

  • October 15, 2016
  • 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Lake Logan State Park Beach

This might be the peak for fall colors in Hocking County!

Start at Lake Logan State Park Beach; Take US 33 bypass, past Lancaster, exit at SR 180, turn right, go less than 1/4 mile, turn left onto CR 3 (Lake Logan Road), go about a mile and park at the Lake Logan State Park Beach. It is less than an hour from Clintonville with the bypass. You might want to consider using the restrooms at the ODOT Rest Stop on US 33 just before the exit as the restrooms at Lake Logan State Park Beach might be closed. (They have been open in past years.) I do not recall any water being available at the start area.

We’ll ride up Star Route Road, across Thompson Ridge, down into Laurelville for lunch, then out spectacular Big Pine Road.

About 45 miles. B and C pace. There are some hills. Route on ridewithgps.

Be there early for a 9:00 start. Please let me know if you are riding.

Ride Leader: Dick and Annette Bartz
